Embark on a rewarding career path as a Dental Assistant through the comprehensive Dental Assistant program at Willis College. This program equips you with the skills to assist dentists in various procedures and provide personalized patient care. With a focus on online learning and hands-on training, our Dental Assistant program prepares you for a successful career in the dental field.
Students will receive 44 weeks of highly structured, full-time, instructor-paced distance education. The Dental Assistant program combines online classes, on-campus clinical training, and practical placements to ensure a well-rounded learning experience. As part of the program, students complete two days per week of workplace training and a mandatory four-week session at Willis College’s Dental Clinic in Ottawa.
Canadian High School diploma or equivalent. Willis College Admission’s Team uses the Wonderlic assessment tool.

*Mature student is defined as 19 years or older.
Note: Students with foreign credentials, regardless of whether their documents have been translated/compared or not, should be tested to establish literacy in the English language.
In addition to the above, students will be required to make sure they have an Immunization Form signed by a doctor including TB 1&2, obtain their Police clearance of criminal record including vulnerable sector search, and obtain their CPR & First Aid – Level C.
